Mission

To establish national diagnostic reference levels for X-ray imaging, optimise the performance of diagnostic radiology equipment, conduct cancer awareness and screening campaigns, and provide training to healthcare professionals in radiation safety and equipment use.

  • Established national diagnostic reference levels for adult and pediatric computed tomography (CT) examinations.
  • Provided clinical services at major hospitals in Ghana, including Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and the 37 Military Hospital.
  • Successfully conducted the 2024 Breast and Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign with free screenings.
