IAEA Fellowship Training in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine

As part of an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Group Fellowship Programme, GAEC hosted medical physics fellows from various countries for clinical training. The programme focused on quality control of X-ray imaging equipment and practical applications in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine, aiming to strengthen regional expertise in medical imaging and safety.

Geant4 Monte Carlo Simulation Training

RAMSRI, and the School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences (SNAS) at GAEC, in partnership with the French Embassy, University of Paris Saclay, and CNRS, organized a 5-day training workshop on the Geant4 Monte Carlo Simulation Toolkit. The workshop introduced researchers and professionals to advanced simulation techniques used in nuclear physics, medical physics, and space science, enhancing computational research capacity in Ghana.
